You are still going by hear say. The consensus is that he was arrested for
simple assault, not domestic violance. Can we wait until he is found
guilty. Do you have video of himself have sex with them. Give me a
break.

hearsay, not hear say
violence not violance
I don't even know what "himself have sex with them" means.

I'm allowed an opinion. we still live in America, the constitution is still in effect.
I don't need a video or photos of him having sex with them. it's 2015 and I'm a grown up. when a young man gets into an altercation with 2 "female acquaintances" I'm smart enough to draw the lines through the dots to put it all together. It's highly unlikely that one of them was his girlfriend and the other was anything other than his other piece on the side.

my bad. I'll try not to be logical next time.

and all of the LC stuff aside, I'm still heading to penn state this weekend where I organized 80 people to sit together screwing up a blue stripe, I'm still heading to Wisconsin and Michigan and West Point, I'm still planning on being at every Scarlet Walk, I'm still planning on co-hosting epic 60 foot long tailgates and I'm still planning on having no voice on Sundays because I lost it on Saturday cheering for the other 94 players who have kept their noses clean.

So Carroo's family didn't back up his side piece, and sided with him?
Stop the presses here...

Don't You need to once again peruse twitter, NJ yellow media, and this board before you even remotely attempt to provide anecdotal account of what happened? Unfortunately for you, and the others that are getting a kick of this matter, there are several non-family witness that have already given testimony as to the matter which led to the simple assault charge. Hey but continue to regurgitate your own made up innuendo, your baseless predictions, and rely on your so called "sources" for your own selfish twisted satisfaction.

The word "slam" is highly suspect here. It seems to me that once that word was used by one person it became the common vernacular in this case.
Look people: do you honestly believe that's what happened? I do not. LC has been with us for a long time. I find it much more realistic that he was trying to separate / break up a fight and that she was inadvertently knocked to the ground.

Eyewitness reports are very unreliable. I've seen presentations where a fake crime was committed in full view of a dozen witnesses and not one of them could describe what happened accurately.

We also know that the initial rumors of someone having their head "slammed into the concrete" are false. Anyone who's head was slammed into concrete would surely exhibit greater injuries than has been reported, and the charges against LC would surely be more severe. Battery is not even included in the charge.

I frankly don't give a hoot what anyone's sources told any of you. the evidence does not align with that story.

I like a good laugh, but what is the funny part ?
The strident nature that each person takes in defending their own or attacking others views which are based on nothing more than hearsay and conjecture. It is more a commentary and observation of human nature than a commentary on the merits and seriousness of the case.

BTW: I find your taking exception to a rather passing innocuous comment equally funny.

If the police believed that the shove to the ground was inadvertent, then they would not have arrested Carroo. A person is guilty of assault only if he or she intended to touch the other person. But keep in mind that we have no idea if the police are right in what they believe. And we have no idea if what is being said on social media has the slightest relationship to the truth.

The lawyers are hard at work, so let the spin begin. No one really thought that he was going down without a fight.

unless i missed your point, i believe you are arguing intent -- not force. he may have intended to simply try and break up a fight but the fact may still remain that she was slammed to the ground.

I saw the whole thing.

Carroo was doing his civic duties of volunteering for the Boy Scouts and escorting the elderly to their SUV's after the game. When out of nowhere the she-witch comes and pushes over the elderly, steals the little boys' American flags, and insults Leonte personally. Carroo, being kind and gentle, askes her politely to apologize to the elderly that he was assisting and to give the Boy Scouts their flags back; he was willing go let the insults to him slide. Not knowing what to make of his calm reaction, the witch throws herself onto the pavement, screams, and tells the police that the civil servant hit her. She casted a spell on all the witnesses that made them repeat her testimony. Choking back tears, the police are forced by the evil feminist DV laws to take the patriot in. A sad day in this fabled land.

Camdenlaw: on domestic disputes, any contact, and even verbal assault (whatever that may be) is sufficient for an arrest.

how dare I what? use the word "dick"? say he should have kept his dick in his pants? pretty much say he shouldn't be banging 2 girls at the same time?

He was charged with domestic violence. which is a charge when you are involved with someone. if you hit me it's just assault, if my husband hits me (or my hypothetical boyfriend or my friend with benefits) its a domestic violence issue. so I'm not reaching here.

as Nuts said, I have 2 daughters so if that's my "politics" so be it.

are the "girls" at fault? well, yea, my mother always told me that girls don't have fist fights. I've never been in one and neither have my girls. And to my knowledge my 82 year old mother has never been involved in a melee either.

but again, when a 6'1" 215 lb 2% body fat football player who was told by his coaches not to get involved goes out, gets involved and lifts up a girl and throws her to the ground I'm gonna say he's more guilty than her.

this is so nonsensical! because you have never been in a fight, no girls in history ever have?

One thing is for sure. Caroo never saw the catfight in the movie Undercover Brother. It shows the appropriate male response to a catfight. Would provide a link to youtube but don't know how. Worth 90 seconds of your day and it will get a "rise" out of you.

this is the only fan board i'm on that goes on personal attack diatribes. jesus christ.

Idk what the hell Carroo did or didnt do, but with everything going on, he had to be suspended. it was the right call. if he turns out innocent, then let him back on the team. if not, c'est la vie.

the lack of reading comprehension on this board is amazing at times.

and I quote from my own post: are the "girls" at fault? well, yea
I then went on to explain that 3 generations of ladies in my family have never gotten into a fist fight. It's what enables us to be called ladies.

I get that you have legal expertise, but the police have to go by what the accuser says don't they? They didn't see it themselves. they let the court figure it out.

Fortunately, a US Marine and Baptist minister examined the she-witches "wounds" and found that she made the whole thing up! He announces his findings before the big game in University Park. With America's favorite son Carroo back on the underdog squad, the harborers of those abhorrent Irish Catholics and Homosexuals get pummeled so hard on the field that the Vatican itself implodes. From there on out, the new American sweethearts win a friendly game over the turncoat, Union-supporting Jayhawk squad. Rutgers, the new American sweethearts, begin a new era in college football. After the game-winning touchdown in the NCG over the Aggies, there is a big announcement! All candidates have withdrawn, except for Donald Trump! With the Trump/Carson ticket now winning by default, all Muslims, knowing their defeat, accept Protestant Jesus as their Lord and Savior and agree to expand Israel's territory claim! Just like that, peace is on Earth! The deporting of Illegals starts right there in Phoenix. The good people of Arizona personally export all illegal Spanish-speakers, armed with the newly-legal automatic AR-15 modifications. America is made great again.

Makes me wonder, if I'm already engaged in a fight with another guy, and a 3rd person joins in and hits me, can I have them arrested?! Does it matter if i started it or not? I would imagine a judge will tell me I should not have been in a fight in the first place.

Yep. That person can get arrested too depending on the circumstances.

Intent to cause bodily harm is the key yes....... but If he just touched her without intent to do harm, and the intent was to break up the fight....... and the girl INADVERTENTLY was injured, how does that hold up?

Also i wonder...... DV laws in california REQUIRE an an arrest of one or both parties if it is classified as a domestic violence situation where there was physical contact, regardless of intent.... Is there a similiar law in NJ?

As I read the New Jersey assault statute, accidental (even negligent) infliction of bodily harm is not sufficient for a charge of assault unless (as is not true here) a deadly weapon is involved.

The police are supposed to think about whether what the accuser is telling them is enough to constitute probable cause that the alleged perp commits a crime. They aren't going to arrest you just because someone says you hit them.
