This is going to kill recruiting - we just gave the coaches we recruit against not just a weapon to sue against us when on the recruiting trail, but a nuclear weapon.

Can we finally bury the utter nonsense we hear every time we lose a recruit that we didn't actually want him because he wasn't a "Rutgers man". Fact is our program is like any other major college football program, we will take anybody who will win us football games, time to grow up.

Can't blame Flood for grown men's choices.

But it is hard to believe that there were not whispers in the locker room with players about this months ago.

Maybe if Flood resigns, but I've expected big recruiting hits for things before and been surprised. We had one decommit when schiano quit. PSU had like two transfers after Sandusky.

I'm guessing there was a reason some of these kids were under recruited. How many arrests has that been in the past couple of years?

It seems a bit misleading. Boggs was a home invasion charge. The remainder were all for a fight with another student.

Welp, looks like that settles the man-press vs 7 yard cushion debate...

We had like 5 transfers. 3 were pretty crucial the other 2 never would've seen the field, but 70% of the recruiting class de-committed.

Doubtful this has an impact on your recruiting.

Long way to go with this one. Let's not demonize these players until we know if the charges stick. There are two sides to every story.

Remember FSU and Dalvin Cook.

This a damn joke. Why!! Why why why why why!! How do you not know right from wrong here? Guess Adams and Clayton will be playing this year. And as for Flood, all I can say is that there are too many players getting in trouble under his watch.

Honest question: were the arrests actually made at the practice field, as these threads indicate? If so, why? Couldn't this have been done more easily in a different setting (s) ?

Getting them where you know all of them will be at one time... what could be easier?

Holy Crap!....and the wheels come off!

Now with that out of my system, lets remember "innocent until proven guilty" Luckily for them the criminal courts work under the above doctrine. We do not know the circumstances behind any of these ALLEGATIONS. These players have due process rights and we do not know what evidence there is at this point. I am sure all this will come out over the next few months. I do not agree with suspending of these players for allegations. For all we know the kid who was caught could have given the Popo the players names in hopes of some sort of plea bargin down the road. Again all these players are Innocent until PROVEN Guilty.

What the hell was the university thinking when they allowed these kids to even be on the practice field? And, let's not even get into the innocent until proven guilty. Now we find ourselves with numerous holes to fill and the email s*it storm gaining force with the season starting. What a friggen mess!
