Deservedly so. I hear he is a totally different player from what he was two weeks ago. Time to move in a different direction. o_O

Kwe has a year to develop his jumper and three/ passing game. As long as his foot stays healthy, we will be getting a quality player here.

I always thought that we had Parker ranked too high. He is an elite leaper but, when I saw him, I felt that his ball handling and shooting needed improvement.

Elite athleticism though.

Thankful he has another year to improve before he comes here. Star system seems too heavily based on athleticism.

What's your take on Laurent?

I like Laurent, been watching him for about three years. I've always seen him as a solid MM guy with a chance to contribute at the HM level. Hopefully his jumper continues to get more reliable.

Russ, after a never ending dark period for RU BB, we are starting to get excited by what Coach Jordan is accomplishing on the recruiting front. It seems like he has turned the page on the Rice debacle and has RU headed to a much brighter future. He is in bringing talented players for visits. From your perspective, does it appear that RU has become a more attractive option for players who have multiple high major offers? We are in for another tough year in the B1G, but if Coach can keep the recruiting momentum going, that will change in the coming years.

Coach Jordan has the personality and NBA background that should open some doors and allow him to be a good recruiter.

The B1G is a very good basketball conference so that helps as well. He just has to recruit to his system and win games. I haven't had any kids bring up the Rice situation so, to the extent that I can tell, that's not an issue with recruits.

He's never said much to me about Rutgers other than Corey Sanders is there and he enjoyed playing with him last year.

I've always thought that Jenkins would attend school close to home so until he says something to make me feel differently I'm expecting him to eventually commit to Clemson.

Having said that, I do know that Tennessee really helped themselves last weekend. The official visit there exceeded Jenkins' expectations.
