Kaleb's brother Jordan Johnson is making his college choice tomorrow and all of the 24/7 predictions have him going to RU. Does this mean we are out of the Pridgeon chase? Can't imagine we take 5 lineman in this class.

Rutgers is recruiting Malcolm Pridgeon as a Left Tackle.
Jordan Johnson is being recruited to play Offensive Guard.

we'll take Jordan Johnson with open arms!

You and me both. Just thought it was a big shock because I know he had mentioned wanting to stay close to home so mom could see his games, but would def love for him to come on board.

Kaleb's little brother has a super offers list. Bring him here asap, worry about other OL recruits later.

Wait, Johnson is announcing tomorrow? There was an interview with him on this site days ago that said he was gonna wait until signing day.

He posted on Twitter that he is announcing tomorrow and not waiting until signing day because he wants to enroll early. would be a great pickup

Jordan, come and join us "On The Banks"!

Kaleb did Rutgers proud and was an absolute warrior out on the field for the Knights. -And we're all hoping there'll be a new Loyal Son from the Johnson family on Wednesday!!

Come on, Jordan Johnson! We want you on the banks! You will have a very good, hard-working group of linemen with whom to work. You'll be protecting an excellent quarterback with a very good receiving corps and running backs. We should have a top-notch defense again as well. We want you on the banks, Jordan!

Pridgeon is a JuCo. He is in a separate category entirely. He'll be graduated and hopefully in the NFL before any of our 2016 OL recruits see the field.
Plus they both play two different positions. Jordan is a guard, and Pridgeon is a tackle.

All I can say is, you gotta think this guy had to become a fan of Rutgers watching his brother play here for 4 long years. I mean I get it if you brother started 1 year, maybe you can shake off that fandom a few years removed, but once you're rooting a team for 4 years how can you the next year be like "Im going to LSU" No sorry, this kid's only decision can be Rutgers

He is a great kid (based on twitter), and seems a bit anxious, so I hope he makes a decision for the right reasons. He is not overly active on twitter normally, but had indicated he would wait until the end to commit. That changed yesterday night, and he posted on twitter; 1 that he would commit today, 2. Shortly later "looking for advice". This process must be such a grinder for some of these kids.

That said he follows a number of RU fans, and followed the "Chopnation" tweetor, tweetie, twit most recently. His tweets are different than most D1 recruits, humble, questioning and sincere...versus some of the other stuff you see

Honestly I just hope the kid make a good choice for himself, all football aside.

I wish him luck wherever he goes.

For the people who care, ESPN has him as a 4*.
He was listed as a 4* in the beginning of the recruiting season, by everyone, then they lowered him to a 3* on most sites. Don't know what happened, but technically he is further along than his brother at the same age. He will be awesome! Needs to put on some weight, but don't think it will be a problem.
But, I thought he was a Florida lean?

Probably a sound decision for Jordan Johnson and his family...G.T. is great school... small time feel in a Big city... It will be easy for his family in Jacksonville to make the drive to his games...would have been nice to see him follow his brother who was a 4 year player but it is tough to replicate a career..Just.glad to see him making what seems to be a sound choice...Good Luck Jordan.

At least Flood's consistent.

As are some posters.

There were 2 things that Rutgers/Flood couldn't change....

1. Distance from Jacksonville

2. His brother played here.

It was pretty well known he preferred to stay closer to home and wanted to forge his own path. GT is a great school and fits the distance criteria but they did kind of come out of Left Field.

Flood's track record recruiting legacies STINKS...
What exactly do you expect it to be? Does he need to close 100%, 80%, 60%?what exactly is the acceptable number for kids to want to follow in their brothers footsteps?

Based on the type of OL we currently have in this class, I don't think Jordan fits the profile RU is looking for. So not surprised he went closer to home. But still wish him well.
