Magoo, I agree.

Knight, What do you think of the opposite?Daniels is highly athletic and could be used as a spark plug coming off the bench.

Part of the reason we had trouble scoring last year is because we turned the ball over at a high rate. Put the players in who will keep the ball in their hands.

I am more comfortable with GL at center than I am with someone I haven't seen play. I think Diallo/Gl will rotate in and out a good amount.

I can see that as well with Grier. Big positive, he handles the ball Grier. Bradley is not Big ten though, so it is not expected right off the bat for him to be better than Williams. Who knows.

There is no way, no how, Lewis does not start for RU at Center. 100% chance Lewis is the starter.

Gregs last year was great, but he has slimmed down quite a bit from what I've heard. His last year wasn'tOkafor good enough to believe he automatically gets the start. Diallo can block some shots and make pgs not as confident to drive up the lane.

Nonetheless, I am hopeful for both Shaq and Diallo after GL leaves. I think they have a good future here.

Sheridan is so good that hopefully hell play minutes at both the 1,2,3,4,5 spots. That's how good he is.
Rumor has it: Sheridan has to get his grades up, or else.
After last season he got a big head over how he was expected to play this season and started to feel
he didn't need to study because he was going to be the Star ******
Shame because he was all set to graduate RU early and Magna *** laude.

Sheridan doesn't graduate from RU, RU graduates from Sheridan.

You guys think Foreman has a shot at the 3? That is what he was recruited out of HS playing

If not,Ill take Sanders, Williams, Grier. I think the last two can offset the turnover issues Sanders might face early on. Williams and Grier both make good decisions with the ball.

Sanders and Williams with Foremen, Freeman and Lewis. That's the starters.

Lewis has to improve substantially and make his free throws. He's a good rebounder but misses a lot of shots and then can hit at the line when he's fouled. I want Shaq to play more. Not sure what Diallo is all about. I've heard very mixed reviews.

Daniels first off the bench with Greer and Shaq/Diallo. Then we need to see what Laurent can do? Not sure what happens after that? Maybe Goode can shoot if he can get open?

You would think would have a chance, but who knows. Gl was a better ft shooter than Kadeem Jack last year.

Diallo has improved. From what I hear and saw in HS, he rebounds well and can block some shots. Offensively, Ej said he had to work on his hands.

I think the starting 5 will be:

Lewis
Freeman
Grier
Daniels
Sanders

Also, I think Goode might be a better PG than most people think and should get most of the backup PG minutes. Williams didn't show me enough last year to think he should be running point. He's a shooter who struggled to shoot. Hopefully that changes this year. From what I saw his strength is his on ball defense. But he's best playing off ball imo

Goode at backup pg- I could see that. If theres one thing I'd like to see this year is less turnovers. If that one thing happens, I will be happy. I don't care if we score 50 points a game. Just don't turn it over 15 times a game.

I think this lineup is too small. I suspect the starting lineup by the time the B1G schedule comes around will be:

1 -- Sanders
2 -- Daniels
3 -- Freeman
4 -- Diallo
5 -- Lewis

The bench will then be as follows:

First guard off the bench -- Williams or Grier, then Goode
First "wing" off the bench -- Grier, then Laurent
First forward off the bench -- Foreman
First "big" off the bench -- Doorson

Unless DJ improves dramatically over the summer shooting the ball, I'm not sure he fits at the 3. Grier and Laurent have a better shot to start than does Foreman IMO, but its very early to decide such matters.

I think Williams will surprise over the summer, but Daniels will probably start at the 2.

Lewis is the 5, Freeman is the 4, Sanders is the 1. Those I feel pretty safe in saying here in June.

There is no question that Lewis, Freeman and Sanders will start.

Daniels will start or play heavy minutes as 6th man.
