Carter's results over the past week gives me hope he may be turning a corner.

If Plott had got the MD think we would've seen Doucet. As was we needed backpoints or a pin, something Haas prob better chance at. A regular decision win at hwt was the same as a loss.

Coach Smith mentioned in an interview after the Oregon St. dual that Trevor was having a really tough week with his weight beforehand and was proud of his effort beating a higher ranked kid. I think it wZ from the coaches interview on Monday after.

And I won’t bust Blankenship chops much bc he was definitely thrown into a challenging situation, but I will say that I expected to see a little more out of him against those two non ranked opponents. He has a lot of work ahead of him but just going off of what I watched I wasn’t excited. VV is someone else I really thought would get some big wins this weekend. He looks good and is aggressive with his shots. I think he just needs a little more experience. Really happy for Carter, just hope this is the beginning of what we all thought he could be. I thought we wrestled better as a team than I was expecting. Lost a couple on Saturday night I didn’t like and was shocked that Wittlake was out all weekend.
