I actually thought compared to the Kill Bills, Inglorious Bastards and Django The Hatefull Eight was pretty normal. His best film in years. I really liked Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction and then he just seemed to get too heavy handed. He seemed to have a mandatory triple digit body count. This really looks good but I've been burned by him too many times.

Really? I think it’s easily his weakest that he’s directed, other than the Grind House movie.

Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction and Inglorious Basterds are my favorites. I also have a soft spot for Jackie Brown, because he put Pam Grier in it.

My weakness is for westerns. I grew up in the Western Era. The Hateful Eight really had the look and fill of an old school western. Definitely a much slower pace then your normal Tarantino film. Liked Jackie Brown also.

I liked it too. Some of the bodily extrusions, etc of Jennifer Jason Leigh we’re particularly displeasing though.

I'd put True Romance in the top 5, but it was only written by him (not directed).

He was involved with Four Rooms, Sin City and From Dusk Til Dawn but they were not entirely his projects, so they are not truly comparable to the the 9 listed above.

Edit to add...Even though I put Death Proof at 9, there is some really fantastic Tarantino-esque dialogue in that movie.

Kill Bills are movies that get better every time I watch them. Subtle. Over the top. Everything in between.

The only movie(s) I didn’t really enjoy were the grindhouse movies.

The guy just knows great dialogue, great casting and great camera work.
