Gavin Stika Commits

[Wrassler17]

I was looking at Intermat's list of commits (the regular signing period began on 4/11) and I came across Gavin Stika's commitment from a couple of days ago. He was the Ohio Div 3 small school champ at 152 this year. Intermat projects him as a 157/165. Welcome Gavin!

He retweeted this recently..

This must be 34 & Counting's version of the dugout silent treatment after a rookie hits his first homer in baseball.

Unexpected but he looks like a good pick-up. Adds an option at a weight that was needed in this class.

Yeah, I watched some of his matches and he looks pretty good for an unranked kid. He's a potential non top 100 sleeper, similar to a Jonce Blaylock or a Jalin Harper. You never know who will be the next Nolan Boyd.

Oh, and the dugout comment was in reference to Gavin, not myself. I just thought there would be some "welcomes" or "congrats". Or maybe just a "like" for the kid committing - nope, not even a single one.

Little known fact - the working title for the movie "A Quiet Place" was actually "34 and counting"...good night everyone, be good to your waitress.

Welcome to Oklahoma State Gavin!!

That's what I'm talking about Obe, a little Cowboy hospitality and passion. You are a good guy and this board would be immensely better if we just had more like you posting more often.

good for him and his family!! Not a home run pick up, but probably makes a good wrestling partner in the room

Welcome aboard!
Glad to have him in Stillwater.
Go Pokes!!!

We just aren't a very populated or active board...I wish we were.

Welcome young man, the sky is the limit!
