Rosselli's explanation: “Until we challenge and it’s competitive and fun to watch, you’re still in a very difficult situation,” Rosselli told the Norman Transcript. “My experience so far has been very minimal. I haven’t been that excited about it, because they’re putting out eight All-Americans and we’re putting out … we have no All-Americans. You do the math on it.”

not sure you could get much lamer than that. ou lost to Lehigh last night...31-4. How many all-americans does Lehigh have? Maybe ou should just cancel the wrestling program.

What kind of attitude is that to encourage their wrestlers? Maybe they don't have top notch guys now, but they need to be built up.

I think Lehigh will have more AA's this year than us. They are loaded at 8-9 weights. Not sure we would beat them in a dual. The very worst thing that could happen to OK State wrestling is for OU to drop wrestling.

Would've been helpful for the author of that article to get the number of teams in the Big 12 right (hint: for wrestling, it's in the name). You guys added Fresno State and Northern Iowa this year.

Wouldn't consider Lehigh loaded. Nice top 20 talent in 8-9 weights, probably 2 AAs. I'd put it at 21-12 OSU
They would be favored at 125 with Cruz ranked #2, at 174 with #3 Kutler even if Jacobe wrestled,184 with #4 Preisch,157 with Ian Brown who defeated Justin Thomas7-2 and Thomas defeated Blaylock by the same score. That is 4 weights out of ten. A toss up weight at 285 where White is ranked #11 and Jordan Wood is #13. I would favor White over Wood but still that is five weights we might not win. If Weigel does not wrestle we would not be favored at 197 and they also have ranked wrestlers but not favored at 133,141 and 149. I like our chances but it is no cake walk. You are right in the tournament we have higher seeds at more weights and should place higher. I say they have 3 AA's in Cruz, Kutler and Preisch, all ranked in the top four. One more thing, in the latest Flo polling we are ranked 7th and Lehigh is ranked 8th.

I'm not sold on Rosselli. He doesn't seem to have much invested in this group of kids. Just seems to be waiting on better wrestlers to show up. You can tell a lot about people when they are faced with adversity. Don't know that much about him, but he doesn't impress me at the duals on the sidelines.

It seemed like many returning starters have went downhill this year. Longo, Jeffries, Barnes and Mejia looked better last year.
