I believe we have a good chance to shut out Kent State on Sunday 1/21.

Tentative lineups for the dual

125 Nick Piccinnini tech fall over Jake Ferri OK State 5-0
133 Kaid Brock Tech Fall over Anthony Tutolo OK State 10-0
141 Dean Heil Major Dec. over Nick Monico or Chance Driscoll OK State 14-0
149 Boo Lewallen Major Decision over Monico/Driscoll OK State 18-0
157 Jonce Blaylock Major dec. over Casey Sparkman OK State 22-0
165 Chandler Rogers fall over Isaac Bast OK State 28-0
174Jacobe Smith dec. over Dylan Barreiro (could be close match) OK State 31-0
184 Keegan Moore Major dec. over Colin McCracken OK State 35-0
197 Preston Weigel Major dec. over Stephen Suglio or Kyle Conel OK State 39-0
285 Derek White Major Dec. over Stephen Suglio or Devin Nye OK State 43-0

At 149 Nick Monico has been injured and Chance Driscoll has wrestled up from 141 in the last two matches. Kent State is coming off their 3rd Straight victory with a 18-13 win over Ohio on Friday night.

I took the night off Friday to take several Grandkids and their parents or spouses to Broadway Tonite Live in Ada where I soaked up some culture. I will be in attendance in GIA Sunday and hungry for some wrestling. Cultured it may not be but it is still my first love.

LETS GO POKES !!!

I don't think Rogers will be wrestling on Sunday, based on what they said on Friday night.

Did not hear about the injury but if it is a hamstring he might not be back for some time. Hope he makes a quick recovery. I guess it will be Dalton Moran again or possibly Hestin Lamons.

He was on crutches after the dual Friday. Looked like foot or ankle injury.

We’ve made a long weekend of it. Drove up Friday and stayed in Stillwater for the Sunday dual. Next weekend will be much better competition looking forward to the Missouri bout.
