I don't normally listen to FRL, but this one was kind of interesting and it's getting plenty of discussion on the other forums. In previous posts I've mentioned the rumors about schools offering recruits less scholarship $ in exchange for being paid by the RTC after graduation. Until now I took these as message board rumors by anonymous posters to explain how a school could circumvent the 9.9 scholarship limit. But the Flo guys say multiple college coaches have told them that programs are doing this and it is only a matter of time before the story breaks.

If wrestlers were promised money from RTC after graduation while being recruited, is that a NCAA violation?

I don't really know. Some people say it's a clear violation, some say it's a gray area, and some say it's just a loophole. Willie says this himself at the end of the video - "some of it is dirty, some of it could be good job, creative loopholes, but someone is going to bark at some point". My own opinion is that it allows programs to bypass scholarship limits, so the RTCs with the most money will have an advantage. That doesn't seem like something the NCAA would like.
