Flo obtained tax info of several of the top RTC's nations wide and the article linked below shows one of the main reasons Penn State has taken off and is now the place for the top end wrestling talent.

The changes to college wrestling mainly in the finding of the programs and RTC's has and will continue to spectate the haves and the have nots. OSU need to really look at ourselves in the mirror and have a plan in place to continue to compete on certain areas.

It really is staggering to see how much more money Penn State's RTC has compared to other schools.

This allows them to do several things:
(1) retain their own star wrestlers after college (David Taylor, Nico Megaludis, etc)
(2) have an Olympic champion as volunteer coach (Jake Varner) and an Olympic champion as an RTC assistant (Japan's Tatsuhiro Yonemitsu)
(3) bring in other former college stars to train like Michigan State's Franklin Gomez (represents Puerto Rico) and Nick Gwiazdowski (part time along with NC State)

This is a tremendous advantage when recruiting elite high school wrestlers. Maybe somebody needs to call T. Boone Pickens.
