Northwestern (11-7, 2-5 Big Ten) hosts Indiana (13-5, 5-3 Big Ten) tonight at Welsh-Ryan Arena. The game will tip off at 6 pm and air on BTN.

How does Fitz already have blood on his uniform? Did Nicholson drip on him?

Happy to see Berry hit a three and Barney get a couple of early baskets. And they mentioned Martinelli is now the leading scorer in the Big Ten (and averages more than 40 minutes a game in conference play!) and has already seven points tonight.

I don’t know how that wasn’t a big foul on bigMatt, whacked the guy on the top of the head as they crashed to the ground.

We are a crummy shooting team. It's so hard to beat these BIG teams without making the wide open 3s.

Portal musts.... a decent big man and a 3 point shooter

Their rebounding is really helped by shoving our guys out of the way. I suspect we’d do better down low not being their chairs.

Worst stretch of the season. We have 0 field goals and 2 free throws over the final 10 minutes. That's awful basketball.

We had them on the ropes at 23-13 with a great Berry stretch. We could have built a comfortable lead. Woof

After they took Barry out we couldn't do anything. Amazing poor shooting including free throws this team has no one who can shoot other than Barry when he is on. No way this team makes the tournament. Sad because they're all such hard workers and try hard but if you can't shoot you aren't going anywhere.

That 10 point lead evaporated in record time
That's the thing. It really didn't. I didn't think Indiana played well during that stretch at all, and they had to work for their points. It's just NU just stopped doing anything offensively and Indiana did a little bit offensively at the same time.

More missed free throws than points. What a painful stretch of basketball. A miracle we’re only down 6. Plenty for Coach to yell about at halftime.

Very disappointing. If it wasn't for Berry we would have 15 pts. We can't shoot missed 5 or 6 FT's. Bad turnovers. 20 mins. to go to turn this game around. Down by 6 so it's anyone's game.

Barnhizer, Martinelli and Berry are combined 8 for 14.
Rest of guys are 0 for 12.

Mullins clearly told to shoot or you won't play.

"Barnhizer is tougher than a $2 steak" - how long has Brandon Gaudin been sitting on that one?
