Quasi-Rant: Online Ticket Brokers

It is moderately annoying that some brokers will not reveal seat numbers. I understand why, but I will generally not purchase tickets without knowing the seat numbers. When you have rows that can be 25-30 seats wide, it is hard to pull the trigger on a non-championship event without knowing the seats, especially with all those fees tacked on.

So take that.

I was just looking at Stubhub and have the same reaction. I had to go through like 10 screens to get to what I was buying and to find out the (exorbitant) fees.

if you click on the filters icon in the left upper corner of the stub hub listing and then scroll all the way to the bottom there is a button you can switch on to show ticket prices with all added fees. I think they hide it on purpose. I prefer to use Tickpick for purchases- they have upfront pricing- what ya see is what ya get. I paid $50 a piece for 2 seats today at mid court sec 117 row 17.

9 out of 10 times I end up buying on tickpick. Gametime sometimes beats tickpick and has a toggle to see all in prices.
