Cool, go back to Mommy’s basement and wash your red and white clown pants.
Poor Cignetti. Arrogant jerk, watch the guy in press conferences. He wins, I know, googled it just like he asked. Like he said, he is here to kick everyone’s ***. Kind of like the 76 he ran up on Western Illinois. Proved a lot Curt.
31 transfers this year, many from the school he left. You know the school that hired and paid him. Classy. How many of Allen’s recruits were ran off? Screw them, they can get that degree that Tom promised them from some D2 school. Slander, lol. Do you really think Curt cares about the person as much as the athlete? I don’t by his words and actions by who cares the old man has Indy in uncharted waters.
I am well aware of NU’s history. I find in ironic that an idiot Indiana Fan comes here to troll when you have managed only 3 winning seasons in the last 30! You aren’t Michigan no matter what happens Saturday.
You make some valid points, as is usually the case.
Coaches that leave one school for another have already screwed them, to some degree. But thats okay, thats business.
However, when the coach takes the players he recruited from that same school, that is no different than poaching employees from a previous employer, because players are now employees.
The departed coach is now damaging his previous employer. It is like destroying all your work when you quit a job.
Plenty of businesses protect themselves contractually and sue the departed poacher.
(Not sure if the law is the same as it was 10 years ago)
Can't wait for the universities to start writing such "anti-poaching" clauses into the coaches' contracts.
Thanks for pointing this out.
