Northwestern (15-5, 6-3 Big Ten) is on the road at No. 2 Purdue (19-2, 8-2 Big Ten). The Wildcats have won their last two games in the series in dramatic fashion at Welsh-Ryan Arena, now they have to defend their streak at Mackey Arena, where they haven't won since 2014.

These announcers are such homers. Every call against Purdue is the wrong call according to them. Ik Hummel played for PU but come on.

On the other hand, I think Hummel's shirt was purple (or at least purple-ish).

I don't mind Hummel so much. Loved his Shurna story.

Well, it seems like a poor first half (Barnhizer hasn't been good, silly fouls). However, NU is shooting 60% from the field (61.5% from three!) and Edey hasn't really gotten going yet. Those two things reverse and it could get ugly in a hurry.

We are probably not winning this one as we can’t slow them down today. But, again, I think we are proving we are for real and will have a good season.

18 fouls to 6. 22 free-throw attempts to 2. At least PU is missing a lot of 'em.

It seems that NU is a three-point-shooting team. Just keep making 'em for the next 3:46.

Me thinks this could end 81-81 and we would go up 30 spots in the net ratings
