Pat Spencer article in the WSJ

[ParisCat_rivals]

Feature article about Pat Spencer in today’s Wall Street Journal by the great Jason Gay. I won’t try to link it, because I assume it’s behind a paywall, but it’s a good read, including quotes from CCC. Here’s Pat’s money quote about his time at NU: “I played like crap, to be honest.”

Yep. Terrific article. I go to some Warrior's games and would love to see PS get some minutes if he gets off the farm team. Also interesting what CC said about knowing the Warrior's "really well." Maybe his next move is to be sitting next to Steve Kerr.

Wonder if that's one reason Collins didn't recruit his kid brother.

The Lacrosse Superstar Who Wants to Feed Steph Curry

Pat Spencer is one of the greatest college lacrosse players ever. Now he’s trying to make the Golden State Warriors.

Mention of NU and a quote from Chris Collins.

Spencer about his time at NU:

“I played like crap, to be honest,” the 26-year-old tells me. “I got away with it because I was athletic enough, and I had a high enough IQ that I could mask it, but I couldn’t shoot. My body wasn’t there yet. I had a lot of work to do.”

It's a great read. Pretty amazing how far Spencer has come.

Is he for hire?

He’ll be hiring all of us someday.
