Edit: Well, I guess he didn't knock his helmet off, or else they wouldn't have had to use a different QB the next play. I don't know, then.

If the helmet comes off as a result of a penalty the player can stay in the game.

Why can we not just pound a clearly inferior opponent into submission? Why is a division IAA even getting into the backfield. Why do we not have a dominant o-line. We should wax these guys. No more excuses

We just don’t have the kind of athletes that dominate a team purely by being physically more talented.

I know. There was a roughing the passer penalty, so I assumed the helmet came off as a result of that penalty. But the QB had to sit out the next play, so I don't know how his helmet came off. If the helmet didn't come off as part of the roughing the passer penalty, then it seems like a weak penalty.
