Wait what? Send Coach Hank “out” with 400 wins? Did you bury the lead? Is this confirmation that Hank is indeed retiring at the end of the season?

Way to kill the buzz. That would be, uh, not good. Say it ain’t so Coach Hank!

For those who who saw the Press conference, I’ve heard thst Fitz got a little choked up when he mentioned Coach Hank. True? If so, yep, that’s an obvious sign.

Wasn't it mentioned in a post during the summer that Fitz had to talk Hank into returning this year instead of retiring?

Yes, but I don’t take anything posted on this site as gospel. This seemed to be the first tangible confirmation that is indeed the case.

I think it's another reason why Fitz talks about Hank almost every week, showing him the respect and appreciation for an illustrious career and contribution to the NU program.

Didn’t NU launch a campaign for Persa to be considered for the Heisman? How about doing the same for Hankwitz and the Broyles.

The best way to send Coach Hank out and to ensure he gets the Broyles is to pitch a masterpiece next week and completely shut down dOSU to grab #400. #401 and a lockdown performance against someone from the SEC like TAMU or Florida or perhaps Clemson would be a bonus. If nothing else, this is shaping up to be a massive motivation for our defense to play out of their skulls.

Do it for Coach Hank.

I'd support tMcGarigle for Hank's successor if true about story that he'll retire at end of season

Players of the game:
Defense- Paddy
Offense - Cam / Evan
Special Teams - Mangieri

Anyone recall if Mangieri made any big plays on ST? He must've done something good and I missed it.
