Think dad is at it again:

One of my favorite posts was in Collins' first year. He said he thought that the team would have made the tournament if Carmody was coaching them but that they would not win a conference game all year with Collins coaching them. He really, really, really loved Carmody.

Piece was a bit harsh, but a players union would have come in handy this season. I don’t know what role Phillips played in that process but he was on record as being against it.

How so? I would guess that if the players had bargaining power, we would have started the season on time.

They are reveling in the attention. We're giving them exactly what they want. That's it for me.

The entire schtick is very weird and sad.

Big time plus one here! Needed to say that beyond a simple like. That article was a home run for him. He was able to write it vaguely enough to make people mad and garner attention. That article is just, as people more active on social media like to say, a “thirst trap.”

I received a really great e-mail from Jim this morning, in response to my congratulatory one sent a couple days ago. Jim's response was classy, enthusiastic, humble and thankful. He spent more time thanking me and talking about our usually brief chats at Bluestone, W-R and Ryan Field. As I said before, Jim was always accessible and helpful. How many fans can say that about their AD at P5 program. A class individual IMO and I will always wish Jim and his family well.

I dont think I realized how big a deal this is and how important this decision is to find a replacement until I watched the First Dance about the bball teams trip to the NCAA tnmnt and made me start to think about all the cold, cold days I saw him in his white shirt at the football games...we will probably never be the team, football or basketball, that will dominate because they have tons of advantages,,,it will always take people who are all in.....I think Dr. Phillips was all in and the combination of him and President Schipiro an several all in alumns have really elevated NU......and now it is kinda broken....this will be an important decision...
