We should try and get Dylan Mcaffrey for next year QB. He is very talented and Michigan made a huge mistake going with Joe Milton instead. He’s looking for a place to transfer to and can certainly qualify academically.

I’d take him in a heartbeat.

Can Ramsey come back next year? I thought this year was a total wash eligibility wise for all fall sports...but I could be remembering that wrong.

He didn't want to have to keep on going up against our D in practice....

Ramsey is eligible to return next year as is everyone else on the roster.

JJ McCarthy could come back into play, too, if Ann Arbor decides to can the khakis. He visited us twice, IIRC. Top 30 player in the 2021 class.

As has been discussed over and over, JJ ain’t walking through that door regardless of who is in charge in AA.

After some very disapointing performances, and looked and acted bad as well....how long before some recruits are pulling up their hoodies in the dead of night and heading out of town.....my guess,,,,Hardball calls it quites on his own "saying he is letting the fan base down"

He is waiting for that NFL head coaching offer, and when he gets one, he'll be gone in a heartbeat.

The way things are going, I am not sure the NFL is going to be banging down his door. Could Stanford try to recapture their former glory by recruiting Harbaugh back to Palo Alto? Whatever Shaw is doing at Stanford is not working.

If Ramsey decides to come back for another year, does Hunter really want to wait another year for a chance to start/play?

Likely would have to step down from a P5 program for the best chance to start (should have his NU degree by then).

Feel bad for him. He's gotta be feeling down, watching transfer QBs excel all over the place (even NU). It probably happens all over the place but is magnified for us

IF he leaves, I hope he leaves the B1G and has a Burrow-like year

True, I'm still rooting for H. Johnson. Seems like a nice young man. Wish him well.

Well he can't win in college, even while at a "blue blood" program, so doubt they will be knocking on his door. Then again it sounds like the Bears might be looking.

If 2019 taught us anything...you’re always one play away from QB2 and two plays away from QB3. HJ, Marty and Green all need to prepare as if they are starting each week.

Does Hunter have two years of eligibility after this year?
Seems like that gives him a good shot to start for one or two years.

^ With the free pass this season, he does; but the question is does he want to sit on the bench for another year (if Ramsey returns) in the hope that he gets to start for 1 season (2022), and there's no guarantee that he will get to start.

If Peyton returns, a year of MB's system under their belt, an improved (hopefully) O-line and some of the young pass catchers getting experience - the O should be better.

He generally does well for about three years before his schtick wears out and then he leaves while his value is stillup there. He has stayed too long in AA. Don't think he is as hot a piece of merchandise as he was thought to be in the past
