Hey all, just wanted to stop by and get a few questions about your Wildcats.

How is Ramsey doing for you guys? The box scores tell me he is a great improvement over last years guy but without watching both of your games, I am in the dark.

Your defense has always been a steady solid force against Nebraska. How is this years version?

Lastly, Is there anything about Nebraska that concerns you? I know it’s hard to tell with only one game on film.

My Opinion:

Nebraska is improved this year along the offensive and defensive lines. (FINALLY) This is the first year that I feel comfortable with the lines when comparing us to the rest of the division. We have struggled here since joining the league. Another area that I think we have improved is in our explosiveness. We have continued to take athletes that can change a game and I think we are finally going to be getting production out of them.

Unfortunately, the thing that has held us back is already showing it’s ugly head this year. We had a delay of game coming off a kick off to start a drive, Adrian and Luke both turned the ball over against OSU, and had a bonehead targeting play. These are the things that Northwestern absolutely makes you pay for.

Anyways, hoping for a good game and good luck the rest of the way!

Ramsey is great. He's a proven veteran and he has great command of the offense.

We didn't really have a single "guy" last year.

The defense held Maryland to 3 points and shut Iowa out during the second half.

We need to respect the speed of the Husker offense. Bend but don't break! Then, continue to pound the rock on offense!

Sorry about my grammar. Lol. I came back to read some answers and realized I sound like a fourth grader.

Ramsey is smart and solid with his arm and feet. But expect the Cats to run the ball a bunch. Our defense is much improved in the back half. Still strong at LB. Still strong against the run. But the best they can hope for is to disrupt your QBs on passing plays. Which may not be a good thing.

My biggest concern is Nebraska’s big play and broken play ability.

Cats will probably need to score a minimum of 27 to win. Maybe more.

Nebraska's chances would have been much better if BTN Network had not decided to feature Nebraska's Hail Mary victory over Northwestern this past week to remind us and our coaches of unfinished business. :)
