Apparently the Colorado alumni are upset about the way MT lied to them before leaving? I guess kharma's a ***** (remember Gary Barnett)

Barnett was going home. He came from CU and probably was the only place he would have gone (reportedly turned down Texas, UCLA, and Notre Dame). And Rick Taylor basically helped pack his bags before he even decided. If you're going to blame anyone for Barnett leaving, blame Rick Taylor.

I loved Gary and have always appreciated the miracle he made here. Certainly, he left some talent here, but I think the Wilson-Walker spread offense was more responsible for 2000 than Gary.

A combination of the two...that offense runs a lot better when Damian Anderson is carrying the ball vs. Scott Concannon.

Interesting that the offense couldn’t win another title without Barnett’s recruits. While Barnett’s recruits won 3 titles in 6 seasons. Hmmm.... what seems to be the constant?
