More OSU trouble

It was an old story when it was posted. The police investigated last year and found nothing. The kid transferred and filed a civil suit.

PS. Several other transfers like Corey Bolds who is now at Rutgers even chimed in and said the story was BS.

So, just curious. Are you’re saying you believe the Pennsylvania police investigation was rigorously conducted and findings were valid and a former player reputed to be involved in the situation is a credible witness? Locker room omertà is a real thing.

Are you a PSU fan? All are welcome.

I am a PSU fan.

What do you suggest? Who investigates crime at Northwestern? Do the police look the other way?

Tell us any system that will make you happy and I will support it as long as you use it too. Maybe we should have MSU investigate NW. NW can investigate PSU and PSU can investigate OSU.

Are you saying former players are NOT credible witnesses? Should we release Nassar and Sandusky using your logic?

“Willful blindness sees no end of damage done.”

Here’s a prediction for you: this is not the last time Ped State football will be under police investigation for these sort of depredations. Over and out.

You guys got some good zingers in there. Nothing makes for better comedy than "rape".

If the allegations are true, and at this point there is zero reason to think they aren't, the players not only deserve to be kicked out of the program but to spend lengthy times in jail. I don't know of a single OSU fan that would disagree, and I know some who are pretty staunch fans.

For the record these weren't 5-Star recruits. Wint was a 3 star and ranked 871 in the nation by 24/7. Riep was a 4 Star and ranked in the top 200. Was in the 2-deep last year and had a shot at starting next year or to at least get significant playing time.

I think the issue a lot of us have, Klem, is with the fans of football factory-type programs (and this is not unique to OSU, but within the Big Ten it's probably most predominant there) who care not a whit about standards or integrity -- only that the football team of a university . . . a university, an institution of higher learning . . . wins games. And most of them have no formal connection to the school in the first place (just as I haven't to Northwestern). Imbeciles like that ought to be required to produce written permission in order to leave their caves in the morning.

Ryan Day - Did his job and released the 2 players. As much as I want to find fault with Ryan - He has been a stand up - no **** coach. Time will tell.

I don't doubt it. And over there, he'll need to be. From what little I've seen of Ryan Day, I've been impressed with him. My issue is with the multitudes of dumbasses who willfully turn a blind eye to stuff like this as long as it facilitates winning football games.
