Due to ligament injury that will require surgery.

I'm kind of pissed that a player that already had a roughing the passer call earlier in the game came back and caused a season-ending injury to that same QB, all in one half.

Yeah, because season ending injuries never happen in the NFL. Come on, it's football, Garrett had no ill intention, he was playing football. As a Browns fan I can tell you Myles is in no way a mean or dirty player. Maybe if the Jets O Line could actually block? Also the hit that Myles put on him wouldn't have even been a penalty 5 years ago. Oh and the hit wasn't what caused the injury really, it was the awkward way he was taken down because he was running for his life. Do you get pissed when an NU players gets called for a PF and comes back in the game? Has an NU player never caused a serious injury to another player? I feel bad for Trevor but it comes with the game.

Just need to look back at the Stanford game for an example of an NU player.......

Fair enough; I just wasn't impressed with the first roughing the passer penalty where Garrett also jumped offsides and then knocked Trevor to the ground after he had already gotten rid of the ball. The second one was more flukey but my first impression of Garrett was already set by the first one. Note that I'm a Cowboys fan and have never had reason to watch a Browns game, and I didn't follow Garrett at Texas A&M, so that first roughing the passer where he was also offsides and laid into the QB was my first impression of Garrett and the first impression looked pretty dirty to me. If you say his career prior to this wasn't dirty, I'll have to take your word for it because I've never watched him.

And then he roughs the passer a second time in the same half and ends the QB's season and maybe career.

That likely will end his career.
I SO wanted him to have one of those baseball hat/clipboard jobs so he could earn a good living for like 6-7 years without getting clobbered. C'est la guerre

Edit - forgot - this is all my fault. I just bought a Trevor Siemian t-shirt, so of course I jinxed him. hasn't even arrived yet

They would cut a lot of that crap out if they suspended him for as long as the injured player was out if it was done on an illegal hit. . In this case the whole year or longer

So maybe now he goes for a position as QB coach.
