Michigan opened at minus 11 and it has since moved to minus 13. About what I expected. When it gets to minus 15, I'll take the 'Cats

You know I support our team as much as anyone, but I would take Michigan, even at -15. Just a terribad matchup at almost every position for us,. Hope I;m wrong of course, but I think we still recover from this likely beatdown and fare much better the rest of the season. Really the only way I see us winning this game is if they get caught looking ahead; that flies with an opponent like Illinois but if they look ahead of us, we can make them pay if we show up to play...

I want what your Smoking!

It’s “you’re” not “your”, Michigan man. Let’s wait to see the game on Saturday before all of the boastful talk. This Michigan team has not done anything yet to justify “your” arrogance.

That's a fair line, but one I wouldn't touch. There's no over/under yet, but if that line came in at 45 or over, I think the play would be the under. I expect our defense to have a good game, as they have pretty much all year to this point. I also, like many others I'm guessing, think we will struggle on offense. The only way I think we score 20 or more if we have a special teams/defensive touchdown (or a play that sets us up in the red zone) or if our offensive line plays a significantly better game than any they have played to this point. Hopefully the o-line is healthy, but even with a healthy o-line, this Michigan front seven is a good one. They'll have their hands full.

No matter what, I'm excited. Living over 300 miles away with two young kids, I don't get in for too many games anymore, but I'll be there on Saturday. Looking forward to the whole day no matter what- though a win would definitely be preferred.

You failed to mention that we've beaten dOSU as many times as they have since 2004

The game was “off” late yesterday at some books and now we know why.
I was wondering the same thing yesterday. Usually it's "off" because of a real or suspected change a QB but I'd imagine a top RB could also be the reason. Hope Thorson and the receivers have a big day or it could be a long, long day for NU on Saturday.

As mentioned in other thread, Moten does best when bursting through a hole. Larkin had to make some sick moves to bounce it out for a gain when there were no holes, which was most of the time. When you couple the loss of Larkin with the lack of a QB running/RPO threat, I don’t see us having an effective run game at all against the Mich front.

Line could move to 20 now. Spanking is in order. The OL is awful.
Well, your posts today, jncluding that disgusting post in the Larkin thread that no one should have even dignified with a response, indicate you know zilch, so I am actually changing my mind about this. I thought we would get curushed, but, since you know nothing, that position cannot possibly be correct. So a close game it is; maybe even a win for us! Put that in your flat earth pipe and smoke it...

Oh, I'm not angry, Turk; been around here all this time and you still can't tell the difference between anger and trolling. If I was angry, believe me, you would know it.

And my trolling does have a basis in fact. .Go look at your post in the Larkin thread, and then look at everyone else's (incuding from opposing fans). See a difference? There were a bunch of intelligent posts in that thread, and then, there was your post.

Thank you for pointing out my ignorance, but I don't care. As for boastful talk " want what you're smoking" see I learned thank you. If you forgot , you lost to Duke & Akron. Thanks again for pointing out my ignorance.

So what? Not the first time we’ve had early season struggles and rebounded to have a very good season. Perhaps you should be more focused on your team since Michigan’s track record of late has been nothing to brag about.

I have no clue on what you or Wickerdude are talking about. I checked some 'larkin' threads and unless something got deleted, not sure what you are so bent on?
BTW, I'm fairly optimistic about Saturday's game, and I think it will be competitive right to the end. Unlike you and most others who fell off the purple wall after the Akron loss. The Akron loss means NOTHING to me. I'm focused on the division as the next building block of this program. OOC losses are only significant if someone thinks we are going to the playoffs. We aren't.
We have a legit chance to win the division because the level of competition isn't so great and we have our toughest games at home. Am I expecting a victory against an average Michigan team? No, but I also won't be surprised if we win. We can certainly upset Wisconsin. Saturday is going to be one of the 3 most important Saturday's on our schedule and it's going to be exciting.

And Michigan lost to Notre Dame, which is more embarrassing than losing to Appalachian State.

Uh, something got deleted. Probably the worst post on the board this year.

Now at -14.5 as 75% of bets are on Michigan, with both sharps and squares backing the favorite. I'm not a fan of anything 14+ for the fave here.
