They will come. Now lets go get some recievers and be the most explosive team in the big ten. We are coming for you OSU, Wisconsin, PSU, and especially you Harbaugh. Cant wait to beat the crap out of you the most.

More hoping this brings in a higher-caliber OL recruit, personally. We haven't quite had the talent up front to consistently compete with those teams and it's much easier to scheme talent deficiency at WR than OL.

I'm with GCG and hope this brings in top-notch OL recruits.

What we're seeing now, finally, is that NU can get a big stud. Yes, I know it's just one and Ohio State and Alabama bring in five stars almost as afterthoughts, but you have to start with one. Add this to the new facilities, and suddenly there is a buzz about NU that gets all recruits thinking... A few more, and the sky is the limit.

That's all we really need out of the new facilities. Just getting those 3-4 guys annually who are a notch above the talent we've already shown we can get. Guys like Franks and Rouse could be the start of a talent uptick up front on offense.

I'm still a little surprised we're already seeing the uptick in 2019 recruiting. Thought it would be 2020, but I guess nobody was really sure how spring official visits might impact things.

Onward and upward!

New facility + Hunter Johnson should be a nice double boost for recruiting the next couple of years.

Just need a couple signature wins on the field, and everything will come together. Really an incredible time to be a cat fan.

Well, we had 10 wins last season and they have been able to showcase the new facilities pretty well as the place all the new recruits would be working out of al of their time at NU so my expectations were that we would really start to see the improvement this year

Keeping the RB stable full with a guy like Jirehl Brock would help for OL recruiting, too.

Yes. But there are schools where if you hit the wrong position at the wrong time, you as a 5 star could be riding the bench for two-three years and possibly all four. Those schools are few and we are not one of them.

But we are becoming a school that has the facilities, coaching, and overall experience/talent level to make a 5 star into top draft pick.

And Drake Anderson.

Haven’t heard anything about him either way because he’s not on campus yet. Only included Bowser because I heard good things about his spring ball performance after enrolling early.

Going to agree about the O-line (altho the program has been getting recruits at that position w/ a decent list of offers).

Maybe the notion of protection someone like HJ will prod some blue-chip O-line prospects to pick the 'Cats despite the recent dearth in sending O-linemen to the NFL.
