OT: Cubs tickets from an Io_a fan

[Bookie34]

Hey everyone, I come in peace. After 13 years on the waiting list I was finally able to get season tickets for the Cubs. However, between my brother who lives 15 minutes from Wrigley and me (live in Iowa) there is no way we can use all 81 home games. Some friends and family have taken some off our hands, but we have some available if anyone is interested. Not looking to make any money on these. Everything is at our season ticket face value. Just trying to find people to use games we won't and figured there may be a few Cubs fans over here. We have 2 tickets in section 137 down the right field line. If you're interested, send me an email and I can give you all of the info.

Sounds like a great offer for NU Chicago residents. I shared season tickets to the Orioles and Later the Nationals-it worked out great

Maybe it's just me, but I would have a tough time volunteering to buy tickets from someone whose screen name is "bookie."

Haha that's fair. It's actually a nickname I never shook from when I was a kid and had a hearing problem. My dad would call me a booger and I responded with "you're a bookie" b/c that's what I heard. I've been told I made much worse mistakes, but that one stuck with my dad. Eventually his friends called me that, then my brothers and their friends. By the time I was in junior high I just rolled with it.
