Official NU-Iowa SECOND HALF thread

[lou v]

I never thought NU would have 17 points at the half. The Cats came into this game with the worse red-zone offense in the Big Ten, converting only 3-of-7 chances. Today, they are 3-for-3 with 2 TDs and a FG.

NU has 162 yards, 87 rushing and 75 passing.

[LACatFan]

Adjustments?

[Alvious]

I predict we go 3 and out to start the half.

[DrillCat]

Do not punt or kick to King. Ever again.

[DrillCat]

What adjustment? We do not adjust. We go as is. We Are Northwestern!!! Meow~

[DrillCat]

Lord..

Don't worry, we're back to being Northwestern now.

Hilariously bad coverage on punts. This team stinks

[DrillCat]

Well then. .

[Wildcatfootball12]

Blake Hance is the worse offensive lineman I have seen in D1 football

Next time the Cats get the ball just watch him, its almost funny

[Wrestlerneverdiesasacatfan]

Punting is atrocious

[phatcat_rivals223240]

Here comes the beatdown. Iowa momentum, better than us, and smarting after the last two games

[DrillCat]

How about that new practice facility by the lake though?

[phatcat_rivals223240]

Getting close to the obligatory 2 yard Whatley td

[corbi2961]

I have watched and you really don't know what you are talking about.

[chicagocatfan24]

They're gonna go for it on 4th here and walk in the end zone

[FLCat07]

Do we teach how to tackle anymore?

[Wrestlerneverdiesasacatfan]

Need to open up offense. Our tackling stinks

[Alvious]

We're lucky to hold 'em to a FG there. Maybe offense will come to life now.

[DrillCat]

Small defensive victory.
Do we have talents on OL and DL for 2017 campaign?

[YesterdaysCat]

Getting close to the obligatory 2 yard Whatley td

After the Iowa FG, I can't wait for the following:

Touchback
1st down lateral run by Jackson for 3 yards
2nd down 3-yd completion
3rd down incompletion / QB pressured
4th down punt

Maybe I will be wrong, but sometime during the next NU drive, there will be a lateral run and a QB pressure by Iowa. Just because.

[DrillCat]

We're lucky to hold 'em to a FG there. Maybe offense will come to life now.

We can only hope..but have they ever in past 4 games?

[DrillCat]

1 yard in the middle instead

[DrillCat]

JJ is beautiful..

[DrillCat]

Can we just run run run pass run run run and run again?

[DrillCat]

Punt plz

[DrillCat]

What the..

[TheC]

Has Vault caught a pass this year aside from that TD against Duke?

[Wrestlerneverdiesasacatfan]

We go for it on fourth down on our 49? Wow!

[beetlemania74]

Big 4th down conversion.

[corbi2961]

Iowa doesn't miss open field tackles. We do.

[beetlemania74]

Really poor underthrow by CT there. Was a sure TD.

[DrillCat]

Nice to piss away downs

[TheC]

What a blown opportunity.

[DrillCat]

Holy batman!

[Alvious]

Anybody notice Fitz squirting water in Vault's face on the sidelines?

[DrillCat]

Right foot down, zebras!

[beetlemania74]

Can't overturn that. It's a TD.

[DrillCat]

Confirmed baby!
