Maybe, though I would guess it would turn more into Phillips saying "unless you make definitive changes, you're gone."
Not a chance in the world that Fitz gets fired.
And, as an added bonus, if we tank for a few years, they means that Jim Phillips won't be able to land the better job he's been angling for since the day he got here because he'll be damaged goods, too - so we will have both of them still here!
Phillips has proven he can sell ice to Eskimos if he can raise $265 Million for this train wreck of a football program. He can go wherever he wants.
Not so sure. He is feel good story but if he becomes leader of the worst team in the B1G, it's not so feel good. It's reminiscent of the Dark Age when nobody cared who coached, who played, who attended. I can't believe after $250+M commitment, NU would want to lose the trust of those donors. I'm sure this is not the last time they plan to fundraise.
