McCall must get Thorson in a rhythm right off the bat. He CAN throw and is more than capable of torching Nebraskas secondary. Our receivers have had problems catching the ball but we still have more than capable guys in that unit. Our O line is weak, but to be the worst secondary in the country you must not have much help frim your d-front. If they have to respect the pass we WILL be able to run on them. The other key to me is that if JJ is struggling then they need to get more carries for WML. When he is in the game good things happen. I also believe that if we move the ball our defense will get more pumped up and play better. Last but not least, if we win the toss, why not take the ball on offense first. Put some faith in your offense to produce for cryin out loud! Go Cat's. I'm taking the money line in this game.

I am afraid that I see us in the standard underdog role for what has to happen to win. In other words, early turnovers get into their quarterback's head. They score very few points. We go into the fourth quarter close and they tighten up due to their recent history in close games and make one final fatal mistake.

If both teams play turnover free ball, then advantage goes to Nebraska.

CT erratic and inconsistent. OL cant block more than two seconds. Opposing defense stacking the box with 7-8. Receivers dropping passes and let the ball bounce off their chests.
Unless our D can score 2 TDs for us, we will lose every single game left in the schedule.
However, we've always beaten one or two teams that are deemed superior to us in the past. Must keep faith.
Go Cats!

Breakout game for Thorson. His passing is improving.

As a Husker fan, I can tell you that the key to beating Nebraska is by forcing turnovers, keeping Armstrong in the pocket, and a strong passing game.
Good luck trying to get big plays running the ball.

I would go with "don't play like hot garbage."

Go Cats!

You apparently haven't seen Purdue play. They are worse than last year, when our injury-riddled team handled them fairly easily....

They're not good, but they got within three points of Michigan State.
What? How can this be? According to Mike, Purdue sucks and we handled them last year even when they were better.
Didn't MSU beat UM? And we couldn't even score a FG against UM.
This gives me no hope. But then again, Mike surely knows better. I'm confused. I'm so clueless. I'm just going to stick with Mike's assessment. He knows better.

No, I have not seen Purdue play. This gives me some hope. Can you find me one more?

Illinois is fairly decimated by injury at this point. They keep saying that Ferguson is coming back, but they he is ruled out week after week. Certainly a winnable game.

Guys we have winnable games left on our schedule. If UN comes out flat and we get some early success, today is winnable. Any team left on the schedule that the Cats prepare well for will be rudely awakened if they take us fro granted.

There is no reason to think that the three or four best teams on our schedule are behind us.
