Yep. Common sense real talk like that is great. It is stuff like that which got Tucker Carlson fired from MSNBC and then Fox and tagged a Russian Agent by irrational Senators.

If Maher is lucky he will get fired at HBO and start a podcast and suffer half the financial pain that fate cost Tucker.

He's confusing to me . I agree with what he has said on many issues but he turned around and votes for more of the same . He's all about giving handouts but bitching about taxes and not prioritizing what government should and should not be doing.

I would say he's explaining it in a way that his audience can get it. That is as a Classic Liberal even he can see California is screwed up and he is hoping they start seeing it too. He still has a long ways to go but he has been calling out cultural marxist propaganda more. So that's a start as an American Citizen. I will never agree with him on everything or trust him completely. That's ok in the big picture as long as he's willing to push back on that.
