If the investigation was serious he would have already been charged with more serious crimes involving alot more countries. It's a shot over the bow to make sure he exits quietly. If they want him to step down and let Harris be President it will get louder.

A plethora of investigations could have been conducted in the time they have spent stonewalling this one. They are using it to Control Joe Biden. They being Garland's people because they want Harris and Walz in charge so they get to run completely wild.

Hunter showed up today and asked for an Alford Plea Deal. Apparently the DOJ said no. Not 100% sure but this is looking like Harris and Garland want to force Biden out by Oct 1st and make him pardon Hunter on the way out.

Reason #2-- to eliminate Drag-her-down Joe. Now that Hunter is wrapped up they can go after Joe since he was receiving The Big Guy share of Hunters ill-gotten gains while serving as VP which eliminates those years as immunity time... Now Hunter and Joe can spend the next 20 years sniffing each others crotches... PHEW
