Rich Rod was not fired at AU because of his record it was due to off the field issues. He has one of the highest winning % all time at Arizona. I don't think Rich will ever be a HC again at a power 4 school, but he might get a good G5 job. I think the baggage he brings will be more of a deterrent to schools hiring him than his coaching ability. Regardless of what his non Wvu record says you can't deny the success he had here.Again, my point from way back in the thread, you might as well hire countless other has beens that have “won at every level”, if you are just going to never impose an expiration date for when past accomplishments are relevant for your new job. You get to P5 usually by winning at lesser levels or by being a high level coordinator, you stay at P5 by continuing to win at that level which RR stopped doing a long time ago.
Btw the incident that got Rich Fired at AU was dismissed in court.
