Could barely beat an 0-4 Sam Houston team in OT. He's thankful the Sam team ran out of players and was down to 3rd string.I see things differently, but I actually know Ed P on a personal level and he gave a lot of info that shed light on some things. I think Rich should have offered up a small press conference to announce he is leaving, but at the same time I cant blame him for leaving at all. It was ugly behind the scenes and RR wanted nothing to do with the good ol boy network. When a politician has more say in your football team's schedule then you do, something is wrong. Any good coach would have left......... in the middle of the night and ran far far away from Joe Manchin.
4-1 *****...your boy can keep coaching Division III or whatever he is doing.....LMAOCome on home Rich!
WVU has played 1 good team and got blown out.4-1 *****...your boy can keep coaching Division III or whatever he is doing.....LMAO
Wait.. strength of schedule matters now?WVU has played 1 good team and got blown out.
Rod has played zero good teams.WVU has played 1 good team and got blown out.
Inching closer to thread record of MichiganHerd thread on TVZ. Got a good shot.Come on home Rich!
What does Rodriguez have to do with WVU only playing 1 good team so far?Rod has played zero good teams.
WVU was losing to average teams or worse in past 4 years.
Because you're on your knees blowing him. What does Rodriguez have to do with WVU only playing 1 good team so far?
The last name of the coach wasn't going to change the outcome of that gameWVU has played 1 good team and got blown out.
You are such a middle school intellectual midget.Because you're on your knees blowing him.
Inching closer to thread record of MichiganHerd thread on TVZ. Got a good shot.
Not to change the subject but if Wvu beats Houston and goes to 5-1 would it be appropriate to start a where is buckanineer thread? What does Rodriguez have to do with WVU only playing 1 good team so far?
So you agree that being 48-47 in power conferences with a losing power conference record since 2008 is a concern? Considering RR will have to coach in a major conference to coach here?As always doofus
You have a point?WVU has played 1 good team and got blown out.
Why do you enjoy playing the role of the board retard so much?Come on home Rich!
This dude has been struggling to make one for 6 pages now.You have a point?
3 of 4 were teams that WVU lost to last year. Pitt, Texas Tech, TCU.WVU has played 1 good team and got blown out.

The lone loss was to unbeaten #6 PSU and team many claiming will be in playoffs. A team Rod would lose to by 70 if his current team played them. A team every Mountaineer team has struggled to beat every year. A win that is so rare that it's only happened 9 times.
Rodriguez hasn't coached here since Dec. 16, 2007. What makes you think he would even consider returning? Why do you think he would win here again? He hasn't won anywhere else. He would be instant bad press in my opinion.
Who?Congratulations to Rootmaster. Haven't seen a thread become this popular since the days of the great Greg Jacobs.
Rich could be stylin on local flag football leagues and these clowns would eat it up.You let this thread slip Root. Can't have that.
Rich and his Staff mighty wins that have his gang all horny...
UTEP 1-5
ETSU 1-3
CCU 2-3 (his only loss)
Eastern Michigan 2-3
Sam Houston 0-4 (took OT to win)
MTSU 1-5 (trailed 23-7)
CUSA went from the weakest G5 conference to the weakest among the nation at all levels.
You're gonna need more than the 5-6 on this board who are demanding itCome on home Rich! The folks on this board demand it!
The folks in this thread who say Rich Rod cant coach are very low information football fans.....
They are an exciting team to watch and are doing great for their first year in CUSA. Rich Rod will be coaching on the big stage again soon enough. For those that watched Jacksonville State the other night, there is no way you can deny that while watching their offense that it didn't bring back fond memories of a fluid moving machine.
You are out of touch and out of date man. Have you even taken the time to watch Jacksonville St? You should. Watch that clip until the end. Those guys are right about RR. He's an offensive genius. RR could outcoach NB in his sleep. With this roster now he wouldve hung 30 on PSU and had 3 players with 100+ yards rushing in the same game. With the new $55million facilities, his recruiting would be the best we've ever seen. NB has been handed the keys to a lamborgini with everything we have now, and hes driving it like its a pinto.Football at WVU would
Yeah cause high school level teams prove it.
