I would think after CNN pushed the Russian collusion story and COVID-19 lies people would be very skeptical about anything they said , or for that matter anything any msm.
As recently as the Barack Obama years, CNN, while left leaning, would present both side of an argument. It was obvious which side they landed on, but they were generally fairs with the facts. They regularly presented pieces taking Obama to task. Ever since Trump became president, CNN has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of the furthest left wing of the Democratic Party. They hire a lefty president who tried to move the organization more to the center and fired him almost immediately.
Unfortunately, Fox is only marginally better. They are not fair with the facts either. They just come from a rightwing bias. The difference is they have left-leaning journalists as employees, so you at least get the opposite side occasionally.
I bailed on all the MSM. What and how they report is a small fraction of the problem. It’s what they choose to NOT report on that I have the bigger issue with and find the most insulting. They assume a role as arbiter of fact and truth while being nothing remotely close to it.
Couldn't agree more. It's an odd state of affairs when you can get better news and journalism from agencies based in third-world countries.
It's one thing when they ignore conjecture. It's wrong to do it but still not as bad as flat out ignoring whistle-blowers or ignoring prosecutors. They ignore flat out facts buy only facts that make one side look bad or help one particular orange bad man. It is pretty sad.
CNN,MSNBC,ABC,PBS,NBC and CBS are all in when the whistle-blowers like Alexander Semyonovich Vindman go after Trump.
I don’t know if they realize or not, but they’re completely unable to separate the personal from the professional with respect to their politics. And because they’re unable to do so, they compromise their profession and themselves. They’re as much a part of the team sports as anyone. They clearly have the same disdain for the political right as what Hillary deemed the basket of deplorables. It’s like they think middle America are a bunch of rubes.
No dude, I live in the heart of liberal America. It’s the suburban liberal white woman. The consume a fraction of news and follow the trends of social media to ensure they “fit in”. Dissension is not a viable course of action here.

Twitter was also bending over backwards to censor its users based solely on requests from our government and now a federal judge has issued an order stopping this based on violation of the first amendment.

The media is actively challenging this court order suggesting thar the government NEEDS the ability to combat misinformation.
They are challenging for 2 reasons.
1 if social media can let people speak the truth MSM can't control the narrative.
2 they are losing big money on it . People like Tucker Carlson is making a killing and don't need a CEO.
