Why? It won't do any good. There are hundreds of reasons people kill. Some do it just for sport.
People have always killed for many reasons, agreed. In the past 15, 20 years the number of mass shootings has grown tremendously, not to mention the violence on a daily basis. What have we changed that makes people think it's alright to kill ? What philosophies has changed in our educational system? That makes people justify in there mind killing innocent people? Why? It won't do any good. There are hundreds of reasons people kill. Some do it just for sport.
Not every mass murder has become "radicalized". In fact, I would suggest most have not been influenced by demagogues or nutjobs on social media. There's been several incidents now. No one should take it out on that entire community. However some are being radicalized. Let's educate people on how it's being done. That's how you really fix stuff. By digging into the details.

I get it, times have changed. The times have certainly changed from the 1700s when the Constitution was written.
But what are we going to do if we learn these mass shooters are radicalized by an internet "prophet"? We can't censor that prophet any more than we can take the listener's guns away.
Your way is a waste of time. Education does nothing in this regard.I'm not in favor of censorship or destroying the 1st Amendment. If you're not either then you are going to want to do it my way. You educate everyone on the facts and details from their own hand and mouth.
Anyone not willing to do that is being naive or trying to defend the ideology that causing it. Ignoring it will fix nothing.
Police were allerted when Whitworth's sister called about a domestic disturbance. Whitworth had punched holes in walls, and ripped doors off of hinges. When police questioned the suspect, they admitted to intending to hurt people at the local schools. When Arrested the suspect appeared drunk and was making suicidal statements. The potential shooter possessed a Communist Manifesto and a list of churches and schools to target. 2/4
For example, if a law was passed tomorrow banning the private ownership of all firearms, you have stated you would not turn yours in, as has TarHeel.
Keep defending the "lone wolves". I also haven't said anything about what I would or wouldn't do about turning in guns. It's Unconstitutional though. So let's concentrate on defending that and not allow it to get to that point.Your way is a waste of time. Education does nothing in this regard.
Most criminals who use firearms in their crimes don't give a ****. They do what they want regardless of the law. Some won't take a robbery to the extreme and make it a murder, but they just don't care. Education won't fix any of that.
There are posters on here who have the same mentality, albeit in a much less violent way. For example, if a law was passed tomorrow banning the private ownership of all firearms, you have stated you would not turn yours in, as has TarHeel. You are going to do what you want regardless of the laws. Education won't change that.

I am not defending anyone. You need a better strawman.Keep defending the "lone wolves". I also haven't said anything about what I would or wouldn't do about turning in guns. It's Unconstitutional though. So let's concentrate on defending that and not allow it to get to that point.
Right, but we know that is never going to happen. People are entitled to their First Amendment rights just like you are entitled to your Second Amenment rights. If it's a constitutional amendment

So by not giving up our rights we don't care .... I asked a question earlier about what we have changed in society that makes people want to kill or feel its justified to kill never received a answer .wonder whyRight, but we know that is never going to happen. So we are stuck in the same place as every week where kids are murdered and people here pretend to care. Oddly enough, if it was a fetus that was terminated, you guys would care. Go figure.
