How about in 2014? Personally I don't give a **** about either Country. Russia isn't a threat to us unless they launch a nuke. Sending Ukraine some arms at first was fine. However this has gone to a whole new level. DeSantis and Trump have basically said the same thing lately. We can't afford to keep doing this. Most importantly it's in Europe's back yard. I vote they pull their heads out of their *** and deal with it. We got our own issues closer to home to deal with. Like destroying the Cartels and the CCP.
No reason for me to attack DeSantis. Trump is going to win the nomination. DeSantis will run as VP. If they learn how to ballot harvest like the Democrats they have a good chance of winning.
We have different objectives with Russia and Ukraine. I’m good with enabling Ukraine the opportunity to defend itself with equipment and training. I draw the line at sending in US personnel. Europe can send personnel if it comes to that. But, Ukraine has every right to chart its path towards western Democracy and be enabled to chart its path without fear of Russia’s military force. If Ukraine has the will to fight for that, we have a duty to aid them.
As a benefit to us, we’re gaining a ton of near peer Intel to roadmap our tech development in order to prep us for the CCP.
You understand this administration wants to get involved directly with troops right? Did Putin invade under Trump? No because the right leader could have prevented it. Instead we are dumping money we don't have into a problem that could have been prevented. It's almost like people have learned nothing about Nation Building the past twenty years. There needs to be limits on how much we spend an a I.G. supervising every penny spent. That's not happening. So now Putin and the CCP will continue to fight this war to bankrupt us. It's almost as if many don't get that or are ok with it.
I will be shocked if Russia doesn't start ramping up the bombing of cities and the cries for our troop involvement grows louder by the end of summer. Let's hope I'm wrong. I guess the good news for message board owners is if we get involved with troops on the ground traffic and business will increase.
Me I have seen this movie before and have no confidence in our leaders to fight it correctly. Hence my lack of excitement for it until we have better leadership. We will need a lot of toxic masculinity to fight a three war front. Unfortunately that's been under attack by the same Administration.
