Y'all play 31 regular season games plus at least one game in the conference tournament, so 17-13 ain't happening. Of course, real WVU fans who can count without the aid of their fingers and toes would know this already.
Just looked. They play at Iowa State and they also play at Kansas. Don't see a W at either of those places.
They also play Oklahoma State and Kansas State at home. They'll have to win both of those tilts, and probably win an opening round game in their conference tournament. Tall task if you ask me.

Make no mistake about it. It would certainly be the biggest win of the season for the WVU faithful, if they could score a win over Dan's Herd.
No, it won't because y'all will still be playing at least one game in the Big 12 Tournament. If y'all lose the first tournament game and finish at 17-15, then y'all are NIT bound, at best. An 18th win might be enough, but 18-15 isn't a lock by any means.
No, they have basement dweller Texas Tech at home, along with Okey Lite and Kansas Lite, plus the two road games referenced by M-Herd, for a total of five regular season games remaining.
They'll lose 3 of those...17-14 with a 300 winning percentage in the conference play cannot possibly get them in.
For the way they are stumbling around, they passed deserving of an invitation weeks ago.
