Would love to see the 20 Republicans that fought McCarthy start talking about a convention of the states on the news . Education on this subject is needed.

We are becoming lawless at every level of society. $3,500,000,000,000 in debt. We printed our way into mass inflation. $9 for a dozen eggs. The Canadian dollar is 5% more valuable than the US dollar. The British pound is 45% more valuable. That should be good news for US exports, but we’re down there from 2017.
It would be great if we could just hang all our problems on one political party, but the corruption runs deep across the political spectrum. How did we get here, where the immorality and corruptions which are collapsing our society is out in the open for everyone to see, and the well-dressed perpetrators have no shame?

Yet, we are a nation of functional atheists. We live as if we will never have to give an account.
Our times remind me of those spoken about in the days of Noah’s flood: “Every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time.” (Genesis 6:5b) Our times also remind me of the words of Jesus: “As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.” (Matthew 24:37-39)

First someone has to get the potential of violence or violence that's occurring resolved. Then they can talk to a Judge, Doctor, or Counselor.
Without the ability to resolve those situations then Anarchy happens and our country falls apart. So they push no cops instead of holding the ones accountable for stepping out of line.

Saying Trump started is foolish at best . Trump was in politics for 4 years other than that he worked within the system. Biden on the other hand has been in politics for 50 years ..... please keep emotions out of it . The only way to save us is a convention of the states. Mandate balanced budget, term limits.

Well I can agree with getting rid of career politicians because it was not supposed to be a lifetime job. Again I can agree that these lifetime politicians are running this country into the ground, there is enough blame to go around there. And lastly Trump really did not do our country any favors. He used the presidency for profit for him and his family just like everyone else and helped to divide us even more. So again enough blame to go around. Our supreme court is a joke right now, everything is polarized and political. The way things are going I am one of those people who may decide to cash out and live abroad. I hear Spain/ Portugal are very nice and cheap to live in as an American. So in 5-10 It may be see you later time. Told my son who is Law school make sure you can get a job in another country if you need to get out

The 3 items on the conventions list is mandatory balanced budget, term limits for politicians and Supreme Court. People need to get involved with local politics and mandate a convention.

I work in NJ and it has a large Portuguese population for a reason. They are wonderful people, hard headed people but good. Good food and wine ....holy hell the bread is awesome.
When I was in Philly same. Several Coasties were from Boston who were of Portuguese nationality and upbringing and they were great.
Most founding fathers were influenced by Deism. That there is a higher being but he/she does not intervein in our lives.
