The difference between even thoughtful lefts and liberals and conservatives is this: leftists are deductive thinkers while liberals and conservatives tend to be inductive thinkers. Leftists have a conclusion at which they want to arrive, so they find evidence which gives the appearance of supporting their position. Liberals and conservatives tend to gather the evidence, analyze it, and draw conclusions based on the evidence. A conservative can have profitable, constructive debate with a liberal. This is impossible with a leftist.

I have plenty of old school Democrat/ liberal friends and we have good conversations about what's going on.
They will indict him so Congress won't be able to subpoena him. After all, ignoring a congressional subpoena can land someone in prison.

Congress can impeach Garland, but it won’t matter. Senate won’t convict or remove him. It’s all for show. I do agree that the GOP controlled congress should press forward irrespective of outcome, but nothing is going to ultimately come from anything.
