Well, I think we need to get deficits under control and it probably needs to happen by a combination of spending cuts and tax increases.
Currently, the average is over 28% of our income. How much more do you think we need to be taxed?

First things first. Cut the extreme waste and unnecessary spending. After that, see where we're at. Maybe we would be able to CUT taxes instead of taking more money from taxpayers.

Why wouldn't you want to get the budget under control before taking more money?
We have plenty of money for America's needs. Cut out the waste and we could cut taxes instead of raising taxes.

Unfortunately we are in a bad place in history for our country. Blame Trump, blame democrats or blame the environment....don't matter who we blame not one politician in D.C gives a rats azz about us . The spending is ridiculous and if it means we need to shut it down to stop it then so be it . At least stop giving money to other countries for any reason until our debt is paid down . That would be a start.
