What are Democrats winning? They are standing up for the people who elected them. This is how it's suppose to work when you don't have a uniparty. They should hold out until they get the majority of things they are requesting. If McCarthy can't win them over then pick a Speaker everyone can agree on.
Republicans are the party of independent thought and diversity of ideas. Democrats fall lockstep in line with Pelosi and do her bidding without question.
Correction ---They handed it to them on three separate occasions. Stay tuned, Round two begins tomorrow.
What did they hand them. Nobody can answer that without parroting establishment talking points. They are negotiating getting the best deal for the people that voted for them. They will eventually make a deal or get a Speaker not named McCarthy. Good for them. Democracy in Action. I thought you guys cared about Democracy?

You forget MAGA Republicans are the base of the party! It's the establishment types who want them to sit down and shut up. Not happening. We're not Democrats who keep quiet and do as they're told.

It’s nothing more than a temper tantrum. Some how McCarthy pissed those nineteen idiots off, and the whole thing is personal….
Plus - as an added bonus, the Dems are showing a united front behind their leader —note the optics there—. and they can point a finger and rightly say ‘those dumbass republicans don’t know what the hell they’re doing’. It’s a shame some of you can’t see the bigger picture.
Oh and is McCarthy perfect? No. Is there a better alternative out there….??? Not really. And if the GOP does boot Kevin, who is going to take over his fundraising efforts?? Stop just seeing the trees.

You sound like a Democrat or establishment RINO right now. Nobody should care what the Democrats say. They are going to talk **** no matter what. Democracy is at work right now. If McCarthy wants to be Speaker he will get a deal done. Democrats will always do what they are told.
It's really not that big of a deal. It will get worked out eventually.
They're showing the Republicans to be what we've known them to always be. Ignorant to the realities of politics.
Same reason why they lose Senate seats in states like Georgia and Arizona. They just never learn how to properly play the game.
