It's under new ownership. Why the hell would anyone who wants to try and persuade others not use it? Especially if Musk can continue to fix it or at least balance it out.
It's his call....but he's got his own platform where he doesn't have to worry about "balance". If he wants to reach more folks I suppose it's (Twitter) there for him but why not just use the platform he built to compete with Twitter? I don't go there...they (Twitter) suck!
The 2nd part of Crowder's tweet is correct but the 1st part is not. Letting Trump back on Twitter is not a middle finger to the Left. The Left will take it as a middle finger, but simply allowing someone back on that shouldn't have been banned in the first place isn't a middle finger, it's just a return to normality.
The people that go crazy over Trump on Twitter help Trump more than they hurt him BTW.
The people on his platform are probably already going to vote for him. He needs to reach people that are not on his platform. Twitter is under new Management. So the jury is still out if it will continue to suck as you say.
He needs to use all communication tools available. Just like Republicans and Independents need to start ballot harvesting where legal just like Democrats.
Trump's message is strong IMO with or without Twitter. He needs to hone & sharpen that message, and keep it pointed to reach more folks. If you build a better message, hearts and minds will follow. He doesn't need Twitter to sharpen his message, and if he can stay on message plenty more folks will pick it up with or without Twitter.
Serious question Gunny...what is "legal" about ballot harvesting? Can you show me what's allowed in the areas you mention? Not trying to start an argument with you, but I always thought it was one man one vote? That's not the case in these areas where you say it's (ballot harvesting) legal?

DJT loves hearing him some of his own voice. And seeing himself on TV or in a mirror. But his policies were pretty good for the country. JMHO.
That's just silly. You use all methods of communication to reach as many people as you can.
We can definitely discuss it more leading up to 2024. People should start researching about it though. Democrats mastered it 2020 and 2022 and yes it's legal in several areas.

Twitter has more traffic now than before he bought it. 2/3 of employees are gone, and those that want to work are there.

Good. One down, others to go. The only time I ever watch something on CBS News is when it's a hurricane or a plane crash or stuff like that, and there will always be plenty of outlets to report that stuff. AFAIC, CBS News can fold, as can ABC News, NBC News, PBS, NPR, Fox News, CNN and MSNBC. On any issue/story other than the aforementioned hurricanes, etc, all of them are nothing more than propaganda.
Some more than others. There's plenty of information out there about how the CCP has infiltrated Media, Universities, and Corporations. When people go to the CCP twitter accounts and State media then match to what they see being fed to them here it's not hard to recognize what's happening.
So he should rely on the New York Times, CBS,ABC, et all to get his message out instead of all the other avaialble outlets on alternative & social media? That's just silly.

Well I'll agree you certainly shouldn't ignore anyone who can carry your message, but given a choice of being interviewed by Joe Rogan or Andrea Mitchell...if I were Trump I'd do Joe Rogan's podcast!
Don't know about you, but I don't even watch MSM news anymore...hardly watch Fox either except I'll occasionally watch Tucker Carlson. Never would trust NY Times, WaPo, or that variety of propaganda for my information. I don't disagree with you, but Trump isn't that desperate either.
It's not about being desperate. He should use twitter because lots of people are on it. It's that simple. Reach as many as you can. He can still use his truth social or others.
You make a good point, but as I said it's his call. Just giving my opinion on how I'd treat Twitter if I were Trump. Since I'm not, who cares what I think?
You're right it's his call. I recommend he use it. Hopefully more progressives stop using it just because he does. Look at the cities they are in charge of. The less people hear their ideas the better.
Look at all the other platforms on Social media Trump has available to reach a potential audience:

- Gettr
- Diaspora
- Mastadon
- Tumblr
- Gab
- Counter.social
- Minds
- Pixelfed
- Frendecia
- Steemit
- GNU Social
- Known
- Hubzilla
He should be active on all of those forums.
None of them come close to the reach of twitter though.
