You need to read a book on 'Supply & Demand' which is the key factor in consumer prices across the board.

Well if the supply was short the price would go up right ????? Looks like oil has been stable for a few months. And I took econ 101. I think there is something more than that

You must have missed where OPEC (led by the Saudis) cut back on oil production. I know you probably weren't aware the Joe Biden tried to get them to delay doing so until after the election, something Donald J. Trump would have been impeached over had he been caught doing a similar thing.

No I did not but still the price per barrel does not equal or at least has not equaled in the past what is being presented at the pump. And who brought Biden or Trump into the topic?????

Ummmmm, Biden has been releasing oil for the last 6 months from the SPR to try and salvage midterms. That release stops at the election, expect gas prices to go over $4 again by the first of the year.

Oh, and we need to spend tens of billions on replenishing the SPR. Too bad Biden’s policies curtailed production capability.

This.

They are tapping the Strategic Oil Preserve because of the stupid *** policies of the New Democrat Party. Prices will go back up after midterms. The technology isn't ready so goes to show how much they are screwing everyone on purpose.

What do you expect the students are failing because of inept teachers.
Well then pay more $$$$$$$$ and get rid of no child left behind and testing and let them teach. That might help. And inept parents have zero to do with failing kids yea right.

In 2020, the Department of Energy proposed filling the SPR to its maximum capacity by purchasing 77 million barrels of oil at $24 a barrel. The plan was later scrapped by congressional Democrats, who called it a "bailout" for the oil industry.

--- they had this planned years ago ---

The SPR is now down nearly 200 million barrels, and oil is trading at $90 per barrel. Idiot Biden has announced a plan to replenish the reserve if oil drops below $75.

Teacher Unions and Parents who are not involved in their kids education is a bad combination. Marxist took that union over a long time ago.

Well what do you know we can agree on a couple things ...
No child left behind is ********.
Inept parents is the major problem. They are the reason why teachers have become such failures. Parents should have been watching what was being taught but they have been more interested in watching what they was earning. Teachers stopped teaching the basics of education & started teaching what parents should have been teaching.
Unfortunately teachers have been taxed with being mommy ,daddy & educator & getting blamed for the failure of all 3 .
Society told women it was wrong for them to be a stay at home mom & they should chase a career to be equal to a man not understanding that a stay at home mom surpassed a working man by 10 fold , maybe not in monetary terms but I importance.

Poor sammyk lol. Too stupid to realize he’s apart of the problem. If we want to improve public education, we must make the higher education curriculum at colleges and universities more challenging. I had a roommate in college who started out with a teaching major and we discussed his coursework. It was as challenging as learning to tie your shoestrings. Needless to say, he switched to Pharmacy to be more challenged.

Teachers should welcome school vouchers, welcome the competition. Teachers could always stand up against the system that's making them go against there morals

No because that's the way to pay them less. Why would they want that??????? Also Charter schools are not any better and often times worse than your traditional public school. Again vouchers are not he answer , charters are not the answer, private schools are not the answer. There are three things that goes into a kids education. 1. the School. 2. The parent. 3. The student. That's the answer not paying less or having vouchers. Every teacher I know wants to teach but also wants to make a living.

Where will you build or put the private schools???? Where do you house the students who does not go to a private school????? Who goes to these schools ???? What services will they provide????? Easy to put up a snarky giff but how will you do it ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

No grooming, sexually explicit books, pro-pedophilia or drag shows in a private school. Public schools have gone socialist woke.

Some teachers have done mu h better than others.

Paying teachers more is a great idea but it may not work out as well for current teachers if the market pays more because a lot more people will want to be teachers.

Good for students. Bad for ****** teachers.

Well in the world of supply and demand , you know free market, when there is a shortage you pay$$$$$ to fill the need. If you want to attain/retain talent you need to pay for that right???? Well that's not really going on. There are so many students in say NC that have not had a certified math, English, Science teacher and are so far behind because of that issue. If you want teachers pay them more. If you want to retain talent you must keep it by compensation or pay the price later for being cheap. ****** teachers like ****** cops, lawyers, doctors, mechanics will find a way to go do something else or adapt and get better.

That is the same thing as what I said. Higher teacher pay would be great but it would spell the end for a lot of current teachers because better teachers will enter the market and replace them.

And Dave if I were a politician and I wanted business to come to my state , I would want the jobs that they are bringing to go to my people of that state. Why would you not want an able and educated workforce to supply those businesses with quality workers??????? So why would you not pay for teachers to help provide those type of workers. I saw where WV is begging people to move into the state. Why????? They need educated and trained workers

Tell that to the leaders of Oregon, California and New York.
No I am telling that to you. CA, OR, NY does not have the same problems as WV , Western PA, Rural AL, Miss ect. I am saying why not make sure that your own people are ready to go and be job ready. And being cheap in public education is not the way

And not paying for public schools is expensive too.

But public schools are growing more and more corrupt with "woke" and socialist agendas. Teachers' unions are tethered to the Democrat party. The very party that is now pushing socialist and "woke" agendas.

Ok I work in one of the most WOKE districts in my state. I am telling you there is no indoctrination going on here. No one has put littler boxes in classrooms for those who identify as a fury to pee in. No one is making kids act, dress, say anything that is "WOKE". I think that the far left is s fuc*ing joke. I think the far right is a fuc*ing joke as well. Never have I ever said or supported anything WOKE on here. My posts back that up. And it's easy to vote D when you are a teacher because you are under such attack from the right. Look both parties are to blame for public education being where it is , I know that but one party is actively trying to blow it up instead of fixing it.
