On TWO 4th downs......everyone including the popcorn usher knew it was a 3-step hitch route, except for the WVU coaching staff who played 10 yard cushion.

Air raid teams are synonymous with soft. We need to get back to running qb's up tempo pound and ground type teams like we had 15 years ago. We're not going to win **** with the Air Raid = Fairy raid offense.

Air Raid offenses are for .500 or below type teams.

Yes, play like an eastern team and bring something different and uncommon to the Big12 DCs, and be tough and scary for a change too.

We need an offense that requires more mobility at the QB position. We need to get back to up tempo misdirection and trickeration. Our current offense is to conventional and requires to much talent to be effective. We don't get NFL proto type QB's on a regular basis. We don't get an abundance of talent on the O line which is also required for this system. The majority of the receivers we get have grease on their hands and not super glue which we need for this system. We need a system that doesn't require as much NFL talent and wins games by out smarting and out scheming teams. This is what made us successful in the past.

A different defense? Take out a couple DB’s and add two rush linemen. More Presssure on QB might offset the poor pass defense. Just a thought.
