I like a governor who has shown he can run a state positively. Be nice to get a ex governor who has run his own business. Not wanting to see lawyers or senators....

Do you buy a car? Do you buy a home? Did you pay cash for them? If not, then you are also living a "debt life".
Only my house, my car is paid for and i will run it till the wheels fall off at which time i will have to make a decision. But the reason I do this is because I live in a system that financially rewards me for taking on debt. Why wouldn't I? I take on debt at 4% interest while inflation is at 8% and I pay my bill and the debt I owe will become less over time because the currency is being devalued, BUT the money that I choose to save in (BTC) is deflationary and increases on average 200% a year compared to the inflationary dollar. And they aren't going to stop printing money.

Liars figure and figures lie. You said there was no candidate with a comprehensive plan to address America's fiscal mismanagement. I outlined several initiatives began under Trump which addressed that specific issue, and you respond with a graph allegedly showing Obama was effectively managing our fiscal house?

I can show you numbers that definitively prove he ran up more debt during his 8 years in Office than all of his predecessor's COMBINED. What's your answer to the agenda I outlined in post #76?

Who's your candidate with a better plan?

Not me!!!!

I never said I did have a candidate. But those numbers/chart aren't lies.

EDIT: My chart that I linked says only what the numbers prove. I didn't say Obama did/did not do anything.

I agree with you the deficit continued to run up during the Trump years. I was as angry as anyone over his inability to force Congress to cut more more spending. However under our system, the President can only propose spending, Congress disposes and appropriates. Trump's deficits were annoyingly high, but contrary to the lies on the Left they weren't a result of less revenue into the Treasury due to the tax cuts.

After those tax cuts were passed, revenues hit record highs, along with wages and incomes. Congress (as they always do) spent the additional money and fought Trump's legislative proposals to reign in discretionary spending every step of the way. Still Trump managed to make important reductions in some discretionary spending programs, unfortunately more than half of the Federal budget deficit is mandated entitlement spending and there was NO WAY the swamp was ready to allow him to touch those sacred cows. (even though he also brought up proposals to do just that)

Again, you can't complain about the deficit if you have no plan to address it. You were quick to point out the problem, but you have not nor cannot produce a candidate with a solid plan to address it. I did. I answered your question in post #74, but you can't provide a candidate with a better plan than the one I supported.

Why not?
