What's up with Repubs and Russia, why the lovefest? Trump wanted to be Putin's girlfriend and loved all authoritarian leaders. Pompeo is now sending Putin love. Communist sympathizer Tucker Carlson asks why we support Ukraine and says quit picking on Russia. I know about Repub love of authoritarian leaders but this is not a good time for Repubs to be supporting our adversaries.

Moe wants to start WW3 because Biden’s and the Democrats poll numbers suck. This isn't Iraq dummy this will take a draft if it spirals out of control. We don't need to get involved any farther than selling weapons to Ukraine. We don't need WW3 to protect Hunter and Joe's investments.

Please provide direct examples of authoritarianism exhibited by Trump and Tucker Carlson. More to the point, provide examples of authoritarianism ideas exhibited by the GOP. The only authoritarianism exhibited is from the Democrats

Ukraine is not an ally, we do not have a treaty with them. Strategically they bring very little to the table to us. We should not jeopardize our military in their country. Having said that, if we want to send javelins and patriots rather than pillows, to them, I'm all for it. But anything more, the stupid SOB is protecting his 10%.

The extent of our involvement here should be equipment sales, economic sanctions, and resolve to Article 5. If that’s cowtowing to Russia, whatevs. You and the rest of the liberal children can think what you want.

I don’t think anyone is advocating the Neville Chamberlain approach. I think what most right thinking people on this situation are saying is that there are more ways to aid Ukraine than just sending in the warriors.

We should be rapidly facilitating Arms sales to them for anything and everything they’d need, anti-tank, anti-air, beans, bullets, and bandaids. Sell some direct action support (Mercenaries for hire) like an Academi (Blackwater) so those of us who want to go hook and jab can do so, for money, independent of the US military. Use covert action for advisory and training of non-conventional forces.

Also, sanction the holy hell out of Russia. Freeze assets, cancel or leverage Allie’s to cancel things like Nordstream 2.

We don’t need to send our organized military to go fight on the Ukrainian’s behalf. They’re more than capable of giving Russia fits.

I don't give a **** about Ukraine. You shouldn't either. We have got bigger problems here and other parts of the world. I might end up being wrong but I don't think Putin evades the entire country. If he does let him deal with the blowback he will get from his own people once it turns into guerilla warfare and bodybags get filled up.

There might come a time to **** Russia up. Ukraine isn't worth starting WW3 at a time we aren't exactly healthy enough as a country to fight it.
