@MountaineerWV

Jan 6 an actual insurrection or nah?

No. There were people there that protested peacefully. That's their right and how you should do it. Unfortunately there were individuals who allowed instigators to lead them into criminal activity. Those instigators need to be investigated on who they were and who was pulling their strings. That will have to wait a couple of years. But anyone running for reelection or election needs to ensure their voters it will be a priority.

The protestors on Jan 6 were neither armed nor trying to actually overthrow the government and install a new one. So very much less.

How many protestors are in jail on weapons charges?
The pictures posted.......of some having weapons.......are fake? Just asking.

EDIT: Quick research I found said 85 charged with weapons offenses.......three for carrying firearm on to Capitol grounds.

Correct 3. Only one was on Capitol grounds. The other two were off grounds.

Read where a fourth brought an assault rifle on Capitol grounds, and charged.

Lonne Coffman
Guy Reffitt
Christopher Alberts
Cleveland Meredith (showed up day late...but planned on shooting)

I read he wasn't actually on grounds. Was charged for having it in D.C though. Point is it was hardly an armed insurrection. However definitely some instigators and a few idiots that fell for it.

Ok. Let me argue this point. Let’s say it was an airplane and not the Capitol. Terrorists? Or peaceful protestors?

A fair comparison would be if a stewardess opened the door to the cockpit and said "hey folks, come on in. It's no big deal".

Horrible comparison. There were peaceful protesters there. Perfectly fine. The instigators and those who broke the law. Very little sympathy for. Though you got to admitt the ones being held like they hijacked an airplane is beyond ridiculous considering the Vice President was raising money for the MFF to get previous convicted felons out of jail for burning and rioting businesses.

What pisses some of the readers here off is the unequal application of the law for political reasons. You should understand that.

Has any more information come to light on the instigators shown on video that were not charged? Why were the instigators on megaphones and cutting security fences not charged?
Has Nancy Pelosi explained why she refused President Trump’s request for National Guardsmen presence before the inauguration?

Wish the idiots amongst the protesters wouldn't have been there, but I'm glad people showed up . I didn't have a problem with the people wearing vajj hats showing up for trumps election crying he cheated.
