sorry...I just can't get any juice for football right now.....if they pull out the next 2 and get a bowl bid I'll watch......I was going to play golf Saturday instead of watching football but it's going to be 24 degrees here Saturday......but Huggy Bear is on tonite tomorrow and hopefully Sunday
You'll miss tHuggs when his fat a$$ finally retires, Sled. If he weren't WVU's coach, then I doubt that a WVU game vs. a nothing program like Elon would be on ESPN2.

Schaus had a better winning percentage, and took his team deeper in the NCAA Tournament, than tHuggs. Moreover, he coached my Lakers for several years after that, or so I'm told. (Your old a$$ might remember those days.)

Bullsh!t. Catlett stepped down to avoid getting hammered by the NCAA over the Hargett mess. Moreover, many years ago, a former Bearcat from West Virginia told me that he had received an automobile to play for Catlett at Cincinnati. Only delusional WVU fans think that neither Catlett nor tHuggs has been dirty. The NCAA has disagreed on both counts. Just be glad that the fan boys in the West Virginia media protect the program, as leopards don't change their stripes just because they change jobs.

Somewhere out there in cyberspace there is a podcast featuring retired assistant coach Billy Hahn where he tells of the family of an unnamed recruit that Huggs was after. According to Billy the family of said recruit contacted the coaching staff saying that they had been offered tens of thousands of dollars by another school, and if WVU could top that offer their son would come to WVU. Huggs response according to Billy was "Tell that family to go **** themselves, we don't do that ****."
